HuntonBrady Interiors Wins Gold Brick Award for Old Florida National Bank
ORLANDO—HuntonBrady Architects earned a 2009 Gold Brick Award from the DowntownOrlando Partnership for the interior design renovation of Old Florida National Bank located at 60 Court Street in downtown Orlando.
HuntonBrady Architects’ design of the 4,00 square feet Old Florida National Bank location was an adaptive reuse of an historic site. 
The architect stripped floors, ceilings tiles and walls to expose robust aged red brick and an imposing vintage bank vault in a loft-like setting reminiscent of banks in a bygone era. Heavy wood baseboards, stone-look floors and a restrained use of color and light give the bank a sophisticated yet familiar feel.
