HuntonBrady To Design Avalex Headquarters Building In Gulf Breeze

Orlando—HuntonBrady Architects released renderings of the new headquarters it designed for Avalex Technologies in Gulf Breeze, Florida. The renovation of a vacant car dealership will allow the company to consolidate offices and employees under one roof in a modern three-story, 43, 000 sf state-of-the-art building. The building is under construction and is scheduled to open in September 2011. A portion of the ground floor is reserved for tenant lease.

“The building is going to be highly visible from Highway 98 and will further establish the Gulf Breeze  area as a vibrant, growing economic community.” said Steve Belflower, AIA, Principal of HuntonBrady. “We are taking a defunct auto dealership in a prime location and adapting it for reuse. Our design will transform the space into a modern, functional, high-tech headquarters building that serves the specific needs of Avalex Technologies.” The building exterior features a dramatic three story glass entry façade. Interior spaces will include areas for research and design, production, distribution, laboratories, and administrative offices.
