The environmentally conscientious green design of this administration and customer service center headquarters makes a significant contribution to the quality of the workplace for employees and for customers. At 10-stories and 127,000 square feet, the building is attached to a 355-car parking garage with preferred parking for hybrid and fuel efficient vehicles. HuntonBrady Architects provided interior design services for this project selecting sustainable elements and materials throughout; including promoting environmentally responsible architecture in the facilities’ first-floor education center. The project utilizes low flush and low flow fixtures, sensors that turn lights on and off based upon natural daylighting, under floor A/C, high efficiency filters and non-toxic emitting materials. Other unique interior design features include using recycled or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood for all doors and millwork, as well as recycled and low volatile organic compounds (VOC) emitting paints, fabric and finishes.
