The project is targeting LEED gold certification and includes features such as the ability to see daylight from 75% of all occupied spaces and high performance glass systems. An exterior sun screen will introduce controlled daylight into the facility and light sensors will turn off the lights when they are not needed. Features such as these will allow this facility to operate 30% more efficiently, which will reduce the long term life cycle costs of operating the facility.
