Tavistock Group, a global private investing company founded 30 years ago, commissioned HuntonBrady Architects to design their new 14, 000 square foot headquarters in Windermere, Florida. The space is designed with private and open office areas incorporating collaborative work and conference spaces that portray a modern loft feeling with exposed ceilings and suspended canopies. Limited colors were used to reinforce the simplified clean lines while maintaining warmth through the use of wood and texture.
Private store-front offices and conference rooms line the perimeter of the building allowing light to penetrate through open workstations to the core areas. Metal wall panels highlight plasma display walls in the lobby and break room areas while barn doors reinforce the sense of open loft spaces. The break room area incorporates a lunch area and informal meeting space in a fun, casual lounge setting centrally located at the building radius end.
