The 4,200 SF Sabo Residence is designed for a family of four on a suburban lake view corner lot. The “L” shape configuration addresses zoning requirements for this narrow lot while at the same offering a framework for the private yard and lap pool.
The entry foyer is a compressed space that designed to expand during entry into the house and movement towards the wall of glass overlooking the lake and courtyard. Direct solar exposure is controlled by a combination of deep overhangs, sunscreens and low-E insulated glass.
The private living areas are located on the second floor with the master bedroom forming the short leg of the “L” and overlooking the lake.
