HuntonBrady Architects was the Architect of Record for the University of Florida’s new 165,000 square foot Biomedical Sciences building. The facility houses the research and administrative operations of the biomedical engineering, sciences and animal resources. The majority of the building incorporates generic/modular laboratory wet lab space designed for collaboration among multidisciplinary researchers, students and staff, and allows for flexibility. A state-of-the-art vivarium supports the biomedical sciences and totals over 29,000 square feet. The entire facility allows UF researches access to world class biomedical research infrastructure. Certified LEED Gold.
