Spirit Airlines Corporate Campus

HuntonBrady designed this six-story headquarters for Spirit Airlines as a consolidation of Spirit’s corporate offices and operations center, as well as their simulation and training facilities. Located in the Dania Pointe mixed-use development just south of the Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, the facility takes advantage of the development’s walkable environment to restaurants and adjacent retail.

The exterior features large wing-shaped elements on top of the building, which cover terraces with excellent views of the airport runways to the north. A glass curtainwall tilted toward the sky welcomes visitors at the vehicular drop-off. A 1,000-car parking structure with a covered canopy connection to the headquarters building provides shaded parking for building occupants. The simulator building is designed to house eight full-flight simulators and their associated flight training devices and training rooms.
