Jef Barrett, AIA, LEED AP


Jef Barrett is an Associate and Project Manager who has architectural design experience in commercial, education, religious, corporate interiors, healthcare, and specialized government projects. He is a Midwest native and joined HuntonBrady in 2011 after receiving his Bachelors of Architecture from Iowa State University. He has managed and held position as project architect on many projects, leading them from conceptual visioning through construction. 

Notable projects include Carver and Timber Springs Middle Schools in Orlando, FL; AdventHealth Outpatient Center in Deltona, FL; Spirit Airlines Headquarters and Simulation Buildings in Dania Beach, FL; NASA Headquarters and NASA Data Center Buildings at Kennedy Space Center, FL; Tavistock Headquarters Building C and B; Tavistock HCA Medical Office Building in Orlando, FL; and the Edison commercial office buildings at various locations in Florida. 

Jef is a member of the American Institute of Architects and has also been a long time LEED Accredited Professional, with interest in sustainable environmental practices. Whenever he can find free time, he can be found in motion outdoors in any corner of Florida, and sometimes painting or creating a new piece of furniture.
