AdventHealth Taneja Center for Surgery - Video

AdventHealth Taneja Center for Surgery is a six-story, 300,000 SF hospital expansion that reshapes the entire Tampa campus. The goal of this addition was to place patient access to the surgery center at the front door of the hospital. The new tower is visible from a busy intersection, acting as a billboard for the entire campus.

The design of the center focuses on incorporating natural light, biophilic elements, texture, and warm materials throughout the public spaces. A double-height lobby featuring a monumental staircase connects the main concourse with the surgery center on the second floor.

Taneja brings innovative surgery practices to the Tampa community by utilizing clean room-based air delivery and indigo lighting systems to reduce surgical site infections. As the community grows, the facility can expand up to 300 beds, further solidifying its impact to the campus.
